omg! gas wad? MY DREAM'S ALL SHATTERED!!! =(
acty put in TP as my 1 & onli choice in my form one, tho at first oledi noe tt tourism industry dusen realli pay beri well, but was tinking if i'm realli interested den juz go ahead wif it 1st, since i'm still young.
but den later last day morn had a gd tok wif my dad's fren hu was a hotelier for near 30 yrs, foun out tt dis industry isn't as simple or glamor as it seems.
other than being the lower paid industry,the hrs r irregular & long, makin the working hrs beri unsociable, & it's sexist as well. it's damn hard for a gurl to climb up high unless i'm lyk the boss' daughter. sumore hafta start from the veri bottom as a receptionist or waitress & even hafta b trainee as chambermaid as experience counts alot in hotel ind.
tt's y now haf 2nd thots bout it as i duno if i can withstand the hardship, & i haf to forgo my family & private time as well in order to make it big in this ind. den my trip to shatec wif VJ yst aftnn reaffirmed my fears, it takes avg 20 yrs for a person to rise up to GM all the way from bottom!
it's lyk stupid lar, i hafta slog all my youth away & in the end i may not even get wad i wan!
=( tt's last min amended my form & pushed VJ bk to 1st choice. feelin so heartbroken & lost now..
sumore totalli shacked my 1st 3 months in jc, 2day still wenta crashed mj & rj wif jan, evad & karen, wonder how am i gona catch up man...& i practically announced to the whole world i'm leaving for TP! how am i gona face everyone lar?grr..
& i seriously need time to heal my broken heart...
